PURPOSE, DUTIES and POWERS

The Board shall develop strategies to improve communication and services to the Veterans of Uinta County.

​

• Collect information about programs available and concerning Veterans’ issues;

• Coordinate efforts towards improving Veterans’ services;

• Coordinate fundraising efforts for the update and improvements of the Uinta County Veterans Monuments;

• Act as a contact for improvements to the Uinta County Veterans Monuments;

• Plan and organize ceremonies honoring Veterans of all conflicts; and

• Prepare an annual budget, and submit it to the County Commissioners.
